I have tried a number of names I knew were on Black Country Connections including my own family and they are on Ancestry but only names and dates of birth and no Census details or Photos . You have to insert search for name and then Family Trees and Black Country Connections Tree pops up but only for person searched for and relatives
This is probably tree grangers14 loaded on Ancestry from Gedcom. saved record

Jo sent me a link to BCC on her Ancestry. The hope was to see if firstly it worked and with the hope of being able to add details. I've looked and found bcc so the upload of bcc gedcom had worked, however I still can't work out why I can't add anything when she's given permission.

Will try again when I can. Also not going to bother Jo just yet as she has family visiting her. She was also so worn out from all the stress tribal pages has caused.

I think it depends on what access you have.

It took Northern Lass ages to educate me in adding and editing Black Country Connections on Tribalpages. I will need her or someone like her to educate me in doing same on Ancestry!!!

I think I may have misunderstood the link and it was just to view bcc on Ancestry. I thought it was to be able to add like I do with my cousin's Ancestry. (We share it)

Not had any reply from organisations in Florida or San Marcos who regulate companies like tribalpages Inc. Or from genelogical organisations . Only resort now is to report possible scam to california or and florida . I note a lot of reviews and reports that other tree owners on tribal pages have had problem of trees disappearing or not accessible. I will not forward anything unless grangers14 agrees when she is available after this week

Thanks for trying Mumbles! I think that's the only way cos I agree with you, it seems this has been going on for a while with others having the same problems.

Received reply from state of Florida corporations dept. Which noted they have no regulation authority and only collect and archive annual records of incorporated companies . They suggest we contact state of florida consumers dept but they note they have only limited regulatory authority and perhaps we should contact local sheriffs if we think crime has been committed

No answer from scam reporting agencies in California or Florida. I think option left now is to write to local media on basis of detailing who we are and problem with Tribal Pages Inc. and seeking help from anyone who can help either with recovery or hosting what we have left. I can put together a possible letter or article .
