ARC TBC...Edwin Elgar Buckwell

Post by SRD »

I have a FreeBMD record for Edwin Elgar Buckwell's birth in 1869, census results for 1871 (living in his paternal grandfather's household in Brighton) and 1881 (living with his parents in Lewes, Sussex). After that not a dicky bird. Can anyone find anything of him?

Edwin C Buckwell of Henfield, Edwin V Buckwell of Brighton and Edgar G Buckwell of Lewes are not him.

Thanks, there is just a possibility in the 1890 Ohio US Federal Census, but it would really be stretching the info.

I've come back to this one recently, he may have been a witness at his sister Mabel's marriage in 1905 and his mother's 1911 census record infers that he was dead by then. I suppose he might have been in the forces but I can't find him. Can anyone else have another look at this in case I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks

There is this one with the same occupation as father but born 1860. Can't see a marriage,

1891. Bow and Bromley of the Tower Hamlets, Stratford Le Bow St Mary, London.
Edwin Buckwell 31. Joiner. Brighton, Sussex.
Alice Buckwell 25. Poplar, London.
Alice Buckwell 3. Dau. Peckham, London.
Edwin C Buckwell 1. Son. Bermondsey, London.

Alice is a widow in 1901.
