ARC TBC..Jethro Billingham moved to Ohio?

I am working my way through Benjamin Billingham (1818-96) 's family on Ancestry and all the hints point to Jethro moving to Ohio at some point after 1871 and marrying first Harriet Ruby(1852-) then Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rodgers (1881-1959). On both marriage records Jethro is Jethro B and his mother is Catherine Hall not Charlotte. There is a request on the marriage to Harriet not to publish. His marriage to Lizzie is 1902 and he states his age as 45 and says he was born at sea. I am confident 1854 is the correct birth year with registration at Dudley (vol 6c and the age matching in the 1861 and 1871 Censuses and a copy of the birth registration in the hints showing he was born to Benjamin and Charlotte 8th May 1854. The only death information I have found is Find a Grave for a Jethro Billingham who died in Ohio with the dates 1855-1939 but no biography.
Does anyone know anything that can verify whether the information about emigrating and marrying in Ohio is correct?

And there is a death certifcate there too that says he died 10 September 1939, born 7 March 1855 (though who knows how reliable that is).

I can find no other newspaper articles

As far as I can see there is no Arthur, Walter, Susannah, Elizabeth in Benjamin Billingham 's family so that must be a different Billingham family. Also the Jethro who was a Chain Shop Foreman in 1880 would have been born 1851, the Jethro in my family is 1854. Jethro B must only have been 8 when he arrived in the U.S. so presumably he went with family. As far as I can see Jethro, if he did go to the U.S. went alone (or perhaps with a wife). The Jethie Bellingham who arrived in 1873 by age etc and the fact I can't find him in any Censuses beyond 1871 sounds feasible which also makes the 1930 Census feasible. This Census appears in my hints and it shows Jethro was age 56 when he first married so marriage must have been around 1910. This makes the Harriet Ruby marriage definitely to a different Jethro.
There is definitely no initial B on the 1854 Birth Registration .
