Update- Look up for Linell done! -Emma Mansell

Post by mezentia »

I've been doing some tidying up, and I've found an Emma Mansell here, HO107 Piece 2034 Folio 48 Page 6, with her grandmother Rosannah Bloomer. However, on the next page, she's there again, HO107 Piece 2034 Folio 48 Page 7, with her parents, and this time the right age. Lodging with Rosannah is Daniel Bills, and I'm sure he's related, but not sure how. Has Emma been enumerated twice  :!: :?:

That was my immediate thought as the two entries are only a couple of houses apart. The slight niggle is that Emma is 5 years old at her grannie's, and 8 at her parents. I also thought that the list was supposed to have been people who spent the night at that address? Hmmm....

Hi Mezentia, many thanks for all the info. Just a couple of things, Michael Mansell is on the 1841 Census in Oldnall Cradley, I have him born about 1817. He also had a brother Henry born about 1820, lived Four Ways Cradley Heath, source Vicar's Notebook. Ann Mansell 1836 Married Felix Dunn. Samuel Mansell 1840 Married Jemima Dunn. I also have Sarah Bloomer 1867 Married to Charles Edge and her sister Tamar Bloomer 1876 Married to Alfred Southall. Best Wishes from Linell.
