Of course there is no "must be" about this. It is also possible that Jane had a daughter with an unknown person, and the kid could have any surname in the world, and then married a Flavell. Shame we don't have a first name.
I tried looking at all B Flavell births in the time period, in case she was unmarried still in 1931, and they all seem to be Beatrice or Bertha, with a Betsy or two. But I did not find any with mother Severns.
Oh no not another mystery on this woman.
So Jane Severns may have had a dau ...that address in 1931 for B. Flavell as the informant
is there any way of tracing that one?
Would phone books on ancestry help?
