I would be tempted to send for the birth cert and say you only want it if the mother is an ann

Dudley regis office will do a sweep I think 2 yrs either side of a year just dont give the ref number only the year name you want and mother is an ann

Must Apologise NL it was me that looked up the marriage for Sarah Jane Hatton and Richmond Barnsley.

Have i got this right Sarah Jane Hatton who married Ricmond Barnsley was possibly the sister of Ann Hatton who was with John Edge.
John Edge is the son of Rueben Edge and Elizabeth Barnsley,Richmonds sister

did we ever find a marriage for ann hatton and reuben
cos I did a look up and it seems that her sons father was.....a John Cook labourer!
