Hello and looking for Moses Shaw b. 1786 Dudley, Worcestersh

Hello everyone, thank you for allowing me to join the forum.

This family and marriage is confusing me. Two wives named Sarah and a husband named Moses but are they different families? Can someone help please?

I'm looking for the marriage location of my 4th great grandparents Moses Shaw (a nailor) b. abt. 1786 in Dudley and his wife Sarah b. abt 1785/6 between 1803-1806. I've found them in 1841 living in Oakey Well Street with their daughters Rebecca and Hannah. Next door neighbours are my 3rd great grandparents Elizabeth Shaw b.1810 with husband Samuel Rhodes. In the 1851 census Moses (65) and Sarah (66) are living in Fountain Street, occupation nailor.

Moses and Sarah had the following children all baptised at St. Thomas, Dudley. Ann bp.1806, Mary Ann bp.1806, Elizabeth bp.1808, Ann Maria bp.1810, Joseph bp.1810, Mary bp.1812, Sarah bp.1814, Rebecca bp.1817 and Hannah bp.1819.

I can't be sure but there may also be another Moses Shaw with a wife named Sarah Walker with daughters Rhoda bp 1799, Sarah bp.1801 and Kerenhappuch bp.1803 they too were all baptised at St. Thomas, Dudley. Or could this be him with his first wife also named Sarah. If this is the same Moses then he would have been very young father.

Can I ask please if there is any detail for the children of Moses and Sarah?

I've looked at and read both links you gave and found it useful. Interestingly, one witness to the Sarah Griffin marriage is named Thomas Walker but perhaps only a coincidence.

I'll keep an open mind to the marriage with Sarah Walker and shelve it for now.

The Hannah Rhodes who married William Herrington in 1851 is the sister to Samuel Rhodes who married Elizabeth Shaw. Thank you for all the extra info.

I was hoping for marriage of Moses and Sarah's children. I don't have anything other than the baptism records. No deaths or marriages.

Can you help me with one other request please? There are two deaths on BMD for Moses Shaw one in 1860 and the other in 1868 both Dudley. Could you possible try to find Moses and Sarah in the 1861 Census? It would help identify him accurately.
