Is showing as having two sons
John Basterfield and John Attwood (both the same)
Looking at records in 1841 Sarah Basterfield was living with John Attwood and has a son George Basterfield aged 1
then in 1851 John Attwood appears with Joseph and Sarah Attwood aged 17
he must be Sarah Basterfield son born by John Allen out of wedlock

John Basterfield went on to marry twice move to Barrow in Furness and his son George Basterfield became Mayor of Barrow in Furness in 1821.
Dock Museum in Barrow has note on display noting John Basterfield born Halesowen Staffordshire married a local girl Ann born Barrow but some of script is incorrect as he married a Hasbury Girl Ann Jackson. Note states he walked from Halesowen to Barrow between 1864 and 1871 to find work as a Blacksmith ( some walk)
