Let the good times roll!

Post by Northern Lass »

Sun! Sun! Sun!

no hols abroad mind you ....but hey who needs the Costa fortune
when you have good old Great Britain in the Sunshine.

Wolvie has his beer in the fridge
Paddling Pool is ready.....£3 Asda....no expense spared (who needs a hot tub)

Barbie ready....not the doll  the one that you grill on!

Soft music wafting thru the warm July air....bit of bat out of hell...just to let everyone
know Covid still around..... :P

Does life get any better!

What you lot up to?

Sat inside with aircon on doing gene.

Too hot outside about 40C, might go for a swim in the pool later.

I haven't been able to get as much done as I hoped...
I fell on Wednesday evening causing a sore leg and arm.
Thursday, my second vaccination so have felt very tired.
Friday I badly cut my big toe...

I think the UK was forecast to be hotter than here. :o
Currently shade temp 31c overnight meant to drop to 25c
No pool or hot tub for me, keeping my toe dry. my husband enjoyed ours!
Too hot to sit out...no aircon installed, just fan on... feels like it's bed time already!

Hope you all enjoy the lovely weather or if it is too hot for you somewhere cool and relaxed!

I drove a car full of family to Newport Pagnell yesterday, to a memorial picnic for my sister in law, whom we lost to cancer in December. A wonderful, funny, kind lady and we couldn't have a funeral to truly reflect her life because of the restrictions. Yesterday we made up for that.

Thank goodness for air conditioning in the car and a large group of trees to picnic under in the riverside meadows. Coming back, the outside air temperature was 31.5C at times.

Has anyone heard from Robbie? Does he live where they had the floods? My daughter's home in Germany is just 70 miles from some of worst devastation, they had hours of constant rain but thankfully no floods.

I will be taking a dip in my large paddling pool later, thankfully having lost even more than my Lockdown weight, so no need for me to go out and buy a new swimsuit the size of a parachute.

Our Paddling Pool has been of dual use
it has been our bath too!

The only thing is I get in and the water gets out!!

This weather is great but the only problem is the wine goes down too quickly!
