Do you agree it's the same William? For the life of me i cannot workout why the mothers maiden name is Gauden for three of the children

No idea on the maiden name for Sarah? I wonder was she married before? Mother remarried and known as that?

I cannot find another William with father Charles on any census and Elizabeth Sidaway says mother in law on 51

Neither can i find a birth for Sarah, i'm going in circles

I haven't been able to see another birth with father Charles, all points that direction.

Just to make sure I had got the first marriage of William & Matilda Hart correct, it definitely says William's father was Charles, occupation Carpenter. Also the marriage which RF gave is correct, although it gives Mira Pritchett, but I know that surname can be interchangeable.

I think it is the same person, too many names tie up...

Working on my own tree i think i have worked it out.
On BCC Maria Hart (Miras Mother has no parents ) she is the sister of Matildas Father Elijah both have parents John Hart and Phoebe Bache
Will try and sort it all out on BCC. John and Phoebe are my 7x G. Grandparents.

I think the Carpenter occupation maybe a mistake.
