Walter GARDNER b. 1883 Plaistow, Essex m. Mary Charlotte Evans
William GARDNER b. 1854 B. Bow (Limehouse) Middlesex m. Eliza Smith Ashworth
William GARDNER b. c.1832 Stepney (or SE London) m. Ann Belsham
Samuel Tims GARDNER (nothing known except that he was listed as a cutler on Williams marriage certificate. Is
it possible that this actually meant a hawker of knives etc., or maybe a knife grinder etc.? Gardner is listed in
places as being a gypsy surname, which could mean that he was an itinerant hawker)
