So ...not sure what I think of this...what do you all think?
I believe schools can reopen on Monday.
Some parents are not keen on sending them to school.
I am not sure what is the best thing to do...send or not send.
This virus is out there and with us and I think we have to adjust to it
and live our lives as best we can.
But...we have to feel happy about decisions.
Glad mine are grown up!
Back to School!

Re: Back to School!
I'm not sure either?
My grandchildren will not be going to school at the moment.
They live out in the sticks and need transport to get there too.
What do teachers think? Could they cope and implement 2 meters away when they have breaks?
Children automatically group together and interact. I think will be very hard.
Especially for the teachers and other staff.

Re: Back to School!
Our local school hasn't closed, the've been providing an education for the children of key workers and disadvantaged families so they're already geared up for more children to go back. They are fortunate in that the building they are in was designed for 4 - 18 year olds but now only caters for 4 - 13 year olds so there is space that's currently used for other purposes that they can expand into but the teachers are having to go back full time rather than 3 weeks on/3 weeks off.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Re: Back to School!
how do people expect to go back to work if the schools don't reopen, or will there grandparent have to look after them worse scenario possible, so schools need to reopen to get the economy moving
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Re: Back to School!
I personally think it is too early for the kids to go back to school.
The schools have been opened to cater for those kids whose parents
have to work.
There are measures that have been put in place in the schools ...but they are going to be tough to enforce
Kids naturally hug there friends and the teachers.
But if people are going back to work then they rely on the schools to look after the kids.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
