I have found this but a different occupation for James and the children are not the same.

so what if Mary Parkes b abt 1861 and
James Parkes b abt 1847 are sibs

apparently John Rollason and Mary Parkes are next door on the 1881 census

or earlier as James should be married by 1870ish
so 1861 or 1871
