Well that homefront spirit soars in the UK.
Over 405 thousand volunteers for the NHS.
Hope that they are all going to be vetted...dbs etc etc.
And I hope they will be fully supported with being tested to see if they have
or have had coronavirus.
There will be some vulnerable people out there who need to be kept safe.
But doesn't it make you proud to be British what a caring nation.

Our youngest has applied to volunteer.
She had an email asking if she would like to as she is a student nurse. So already has checks in place.
I understand, from what she said, that all people will be checked before being added to the group of volunteers.
It is brilliant to see so many willing to help!

I suppose as they say we are in a war of sorts.
Everyone has to do their bit...Stay at home...protect the NHS....save lives.
