This John Rowley/Elcock

Appeared to be born out of wedlock to his mother Elizabeth Elcock and is on 1841 Census as Elcock but changes to Rowley in 1851 and back to Elcock in 1861 and 1871. He then marries a second time and goes back to Rowley in 1891 to 1911
I thought I would add to bcc with notes to cover all this but some children by first marriage do exactly same thing by going back and forth between Elcock and Rowley and on 1901 Census it is complicated by 3 siblings living in same street but with one using Elcock surname and other two using Rowley surname .
This becomes even more complicated in 1911 when all three revert to Elcock surname and another two siblings stays at Rowley and emigrate to Canada
Is it alright to put notes reference all this this on bcc

I think he should be down as Elcock as he was born before marriage.

Changed and working my way through. Strange that siblings in same street used different surnames and whole family changed back and forth
