HI Peter,

Edith Griffiths was born October 5, 1891 at 79 Hacket St Rowley Regis, Staffordshire, England (source is GRO birth record); her obit indicated Oct 9th, but I have found obits to have incorrect information on occasion.

She married
John Henry Dyas on 26 May 1912 at the Parish Church of Blackheath in the Counties of Worcester and Stafford.
Father of the bride is Thomas Griffiths; deceased, chemical worker;
father of the groom is Samuel Dyas; Coal Agent;
Witnesses: John Cole, Elizabeth Southall.

Edith passed away on 7 July 1948 (during surgery) in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

They had 3 children:

my grandmother Dorothy Gertrude Dyas (as I mentioned previously only her birth record shows her names switched as Gertrude Dorothy) born on Nov 22, 1912 at 285 Causeway Green Road in Oldbury, Birmingham, England; d 21 May 1966;

son still living also in Birmingham, England

Margaret Joyce Dyas born 19 Oct 1929 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; d. 23 Nov 1933 also in Oshawa.

Just need to put 19 instead of 18 in marriage and same year for baptism as birth :idea:
