We can't find any further records for him after 1901 Census (name shown as Nelson) and an entry in the London Gazette 1902 showing the termination of partnership with Thomas William Grice. It seems they owned the Despatch Chain Company - anyone have any info on this business? Thomas Grice changed the name to Atlas Tube and Fitting. Has anyone have any info on Gideon Nelson - We can't find 1911 Census, a marriage or a death for him anywhere. Very frustrating!

There are quite a few Trade directory entrances for Gideon Billingham after Gideon Snr died, in Staton Road, Compton Road and Fox Oak Street.
There is a tree on Ancestry that has him as father of George Nelson Ellis in Birmingham but I can find nothing else.
