Thanks for trying to sort out but I knew it would be difficult because my cousins who are ancestors of Elizabeth Byng and George Williams did say they had given up and I detected an anti Byng feeling as even today they do not have a good word for the Byngs. They initimated that the Byngs had a reputation for sowing wild oats and children outwith marriage
