1841 London area.
Hi, I'm looking for a entry for a William Henry Fitzgerald b1817.
He married a Louisa Watson in 1840 in Stepney. their first child was William born in 1840 or 1841.
In 1851 they are living in Star Street in St George, Middlesex. He's working as a painter.
I can't find any record of them in 1841 though?
I've checked Ancestry and Find my past.
Hoping someone with better searching skills could take a look?
Thank you!

From GRO site Birth
FITZGERALD, WILLIAM HENRY Mother WATSON
GRO Reference: 1841 J Quarter in SAINT GEORGE (IN THE EAST) IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLE Volume 02 Page 105
The PDF £7 would give more info-perhaps address ?

If you search census on FMP Always select the census from the A-Z List of records such as 1841 -it allows you to search for Place only or Person also occupation and a lot more info besides

Re: 1841 London area.
Sorry for the late response, yes I'm still looking.. I don't think I have found the correct one yet. I searched using Phillip Street as an address (thank you so much for that search tip btw!) and found John and Martha living there (William Henry's parents) so they must have used the parent's address on the baptism record but don't know where they are? Unless they went away?
I also tried searching under Bedford Street which was the address given on the marriage cert but there is only an Ann Fitzgerald living there, and I don't know who that is??

Re: 1841 London area.
On William jr baptism record it shows he was born 18th May 1841. Emma was born 16th July 1843. The baptisms were 10th November 1843.
So William Henry jr was born as that census was a little later than the others.
Do you happen to know Louisa's parents names?

I have seen the marriage record, Robert Watson was father.
Strange William went from cabinet maker to painter though?
