*Arc tbc* ---Census 1851 Birmingham Works-John Tromans

Post by suki »

John Tromans 1825 and Mary JaneTromans disappear in 1851 census. Grandparents to Edward Willetts the confectioner 1880. I notice two of there children Mary Jane Tromans and Alfred J Tromans were born Birmingham Works and not Rowley Staffs. Between 1850 when Elizabeth was born and 1859 when Phebe was born they were somewhere in Birmingham can any one find them. What or where was Birmingham Works. Johns occ was gas fitter.

I couldnt see them 1851. The 1861 census has them in Rowley, I have a feeling thats down somewhere.
I'm not sure where you got Birmingham Works from, do you think it could be Birmingham in Warwickshire? May be its been put down as Warks?
Jo :)

Birmingham Warks sounds right. Still no sign of them on census 1851. Some clever soul out there must be able to find them
