1851 Census Horseley Heath Tipton Dudley Staffs.
William Mills Head 25 Steam Engine Maker
Elizabeth Mills wife 23 born Bilston Staffs.
Mary Ann Mills dau 1
Rest born Tipton Staffs.

Both live in same street and they and wives are same age but on ancestry trees they are mixed up and incorrect and I initially fell for same trap until I used GRO and marriages with children born after 1838 to resolve correct lines. It was complicated as although different lines they must be related as witnesses on some of opposite families marriages. It does go to show it is necessary to provide as much validation as possible
