ARC TBC ind a registered Death in UK did he emigrate to USA?

One of my Ancestors, Arthur John Charles Hunnikin birth registered in Brentwood Essex in Q2 1879 and appears in 1881 UK Census living with his Parents Arthur Hunnikin and Louise (Trimm) in Brentwood Essex. I cannot trace him in the 1891 Census, however in 1901 he enlists into the Imperial Yeomanry. I also cannot trace a death registered in the UK. However in the 1900 USA Census an Arthur Hunnikin appears as boarder in the Bergen County of New Jersey born May 1880 in New York with Father born in England and Mother in New York. He also appears in the 1920 Census in Essex New Jersey with a Wife Sarah Knapp and 2 sons Edwin and Philip and parents-in-law George and Henrietta Knapp. His death occurs in 1966 in Linden New Jersey USA I believe this may be the same person but how do I prove / verify this?

I would get the marriage record and check fathers names are correct.
