This Mary Sophia Male on BCC:

Note on 1871 census she gives her birthplace as Brettell Lane (ie in Brierley Hill).
I think she was bapt 15 Oct 1843, St Mary, Kingswinford, Mary Sophia dau of Joseph and Mary Ann Male (ODM from IGI - extracted record).

Edward RICHARDS 27 Widr: Whitesmith,Dudley Rd.
father: Joseph Richards(Labourer).
Mary Sophia MALE 23 spin: Dudley Rd.
father: Joseph Male(Engineer).
Witns:
Henry Male/Sarah Lea.
There is no first marriage added but looking at Edwards first children seems mothers maiden name was Cleobury and another as Clesbury.
I found the marriage on Freebmd as
20 August 1854. St John, Wolverhampton.
