Could someone please look up Sydney Lilley and wife Elizabeth in 1939 reg please? Should be a son Reg but may not show because of his age. Think Sydney was born c1903 so should be in 1911 census. Any details please. Trying to find his relationship with either Ann Maria Lilley or her father Samuel. Prob Dudley area. Ta

Ive been trying to work through the family. 1911 is all pickled with names...seems some are on 1911 twice?

You have been busy! I had a quick look and found loads of Lilleys in the Woodside Dudley area so gave up in my search to connect Sydney to the Ann Maria Lilley who married Joseph Shakespeare as she was one of 11 children. It's just that Sydney's son died last week aged 92 and I was looking to see where he fitted in. Mum in law says he did but she died 2000. Ironically he was my teacher at junior school.
