I am trying to go back on the Courtney line.
Can anyone find on family search a possible bapt for him pls
or any census

family seems to be then Kingswinford area for descendants.

his father is a Wm Courtney a Tailor I have that marriage I am adding now

Could do with the marriage for Arthur Courtney and Florence Grainger if anyone can find full description

Can anyone decipher where William Courtney born about 1818ish is born somewhere in Worcs...but I can't fathom out where.

Ok so I am as far back now as William Courtney born about 1790
Think he is a Tailor got him thanks to jimmy the cat on the 1841.

need family on 1851.

and maybe a death before 1861 for This Wm Courtney b 1790

I will move this soon to Gen discussion as seems out of BC area...

But what I am trying to do is go back as far as I can on this Courtney line.
Someone said that all the Courtneys in Worcs descend from a Sir???Gui???? Courtney...but I can't find proof of that.

I am now stuck on this William Courtney b about 1790 marries in?? to Jane ?????

not even sure whee this Wm Courtney b 1790 is born?
says on 1841 census not born in county of Hanley....is this correct
so need him in 1851 pls :grin:
