Hi all we have a Job Hackett born Halesowen 1822 parents James and Catherine on BCC, we also have Job Hackett born 1824 Halesowen Married Mary Ann Shilvock in 1843. Can't check out the Marriage as there is only the GRO Ref to go by, no Church. So I wonder if we can find Job in 1841 to make sure there is only 1 of them before joining up. I found this family in Islington, which is the right area in 1841, Job is a Joel on here?? Just wondered what everyone else thinks and if anyone can find a Job in 1841, thanks from Linell.

Just looking at that 1861 next door to Job and wife Anne is a Samuel Hackett and he is a widow
we have him on connections here...

I wondered if that was Jobs father cos of the name of the kids no James or Catherines for Job and anne
there is a Caroline on a later census

and the Shilvock connection could be via Anne

but we need to be certain Job is son of James

and no marriage showing halesowen 1845 that I can see

Have just found 3 entries for Job Hackett on the following site:

They all have Job Hackett marrying on 25 Dec 1845

However, the FreeBMD site has an entry for Q4 1843 - I have just viewed the indexes and there is an entry for Job in 1843 and none in 1845/6

Thanks everyone for the input, I think Job 1822 is the same as Job 1824 who Married Mary Ann Shilvock, just the miss match over the wedding date. There only seems to be one Job, so I think we should connect Over to you Peter and NL.

Hi Jimmy, well yes I presume Mary Ann is Ann, the Shilvocks and Hacketts are all neighbours in Islington. Mary Ann is there in 1841, but can't find Job unless he is Joel-------help Linell.
