researching the CALLAWAY,SMART,CORFIELD,and GIBBS families from tipton Staffordshire .William SMART is my gt gt gt grandfather his father is john SMART married to Susannah Rowett and johns father is JAMES SMART BORN IN 1812 .CANT FIND JAMES parents .any help on any of these names would be appreciated many thanks gemcat

Hello, my grandmother was Louisa Smart the daughter of John Smart and Susannah Rowett. It sounds as though you know a great deal more than I do so I can't be much help to you I'm afraid, but I'm sure you will find the members of this forum as helful as I have.
