COMPLETED - Fun Time in the Snug

Post by mallosa »

Why not join us for a bit of fun? Especially our new members

1st game 'Dingbats' a game that taxed the brain somewhat!

2nd game 'True/False' Peterd was our winner but no-one got 10/10 Perhaps we can improve on this next time?

3rd game "Guess the Flim Clip" and we will draw a veil over the cheating that went on!

4th game 'Three words, change one' went on for a while but then we got a little more adventurous, hence....

5th game 'Five words, change one' that got us really thinking!

6th game 'Advertising slogans' this one was a bit short-lived.

7th game Another 'Word game' but with a difference. As many words as we could out of a selected word. I wont say who the champion was

8th game 'Christmas Quiz' , 10 questions to do with Christmas and the first to get all ten correct - won by Carol (well done gal)!

9th game We started the New Year off with another game of 'Dingbats' and those of you that didn't quite get it first time around, seem to be getting the hang of it now - great stuff!!

10th game A 'General Knowledge Quiz' and our winner(s) NL/Wolvie scored 8/10 in the quickest time too!

11th game Another 'Quiz' - and the winner, this time was........yes, you've guessed it - Northern Lass with 10 out of 10.

12th game 'Treasure Hunt' - FarSide was our winner, finding 8 out of '10 little green men' and both of the Cradley Vicars notebooks are on their way to her!

13th game 'A-Z of Pop Groups' what can I say...started of as a sort of game and ended up as a bit of entertainment for us all.

14th game 'Which Simpson's Character are you aligned with'....just for fun but the outcome was rather close to our members personalities.

15th game Another 'Quiz' - a bit of cheating went on here and a certain person was disqualified. Our winner, this time was Rob with 9/10 :-)

16th game 'Mysterious Musicians' - This one ran for 2 days (with the usual squabbling in between  ) but Quizmaster Peterd handled it very well! Oh! and the winner was....me

17th game 'Mysterious Musicians part 2' - This ran for 4 days ( ditto...etc) and the winner was..........Rob, after much controversy - well done Rob!

18th game 'Can you solve the riddle?' ..............Pete won 2 and NL won 1.......a bit too good for you NL, better luck next time !

19th game 'Can you recognise this?' A small section of any photograph in our Gallery, and the aim - to guess what/where it was...Winners: Sunday - diane, Monday - Peterd and Tuesday - Rob

20th game 'Name the groups' - Northern Lass was straight in there, with all the correct answers! Well done NL

21st game 'Robbies Quiz' - Our Rob decided to take it upon himself to become our Quizmaster for the evening but Northern Lass surprised him with all the correct answers (again)!!

22nd game 'Fancy Dress Party' I'll say no more on this except, it had to be abandoned due to lack of interest

23rd game 'Quiz' In 3rd place Annie = 7/10 (given you extra half point cos I can't type 6 1/2 out of 10 properly) In 2nd place Peterd = 8/10 and the winner was our ROB with 9/10. Well done ROB!!

24th game Can we have some of your suggestions please?

Thanks but i'm afraid i'll have to decline your offer to be quizmaster!!
I'm far too busy reseaching my ancestors and to increase my workschedule, especially at my age  ,is not the sensible way forward.
Who's this new kid on the block then?

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
