I'm mystified as to why I can't locate a death certificate and wonder if some of you amazing people can help?
I already have the birth and marriage info of this fella but not the DC which is strange to say the least.
Details are:
Name: Hugh William Moller
d.o.b. (certificate not yet received from GRO) Dec 1897 1d 87, London, Southwark
married 3rd July 1926 to Amy Katheen Moore at Whitechapel, London. He aged 28, she aged 19. Occuptation: Police constable and residing in London EC.
Thanks in advance
David

Re: Death Certificate- can't find
Hold your horses folks!
Just found it on "Find My Past". Still don't understand why it's unavailable on Genealogy.com.
Now sent off for it.
Cheers

Great, David, hope it comes up trumps.
Some mistakes are too much fun

Re: Death Certificate- can't find
Sorry, forgot to tell you.
I finally got the death cert from the Ashford, Kent offices.
Seems he did quite well in the police force as he retired as a police Inspector - an "arresting" thought!
