Hi, NL. This is the Plant line that goes back to Benjamin Plant born c. 1620, buried 1682 Halesowen, the so-called "geographic" Plant line which later has distinctive geographical first names like Dudley, Warwick and Richmond e.g. my great great grandfather was Warwick Plant 1816-1892 in this branch. (Other Black Country Plant lines may ultimately be connected to it - if we could get back far enough! - and sometimes are later linked by marriage.) This is what I have on Daniel's family:

Reuben seems to have become a favourite family first name, which at least indicates we've got the right branch, the "geographic" one! The two Reubens are in succeeding generations of the same line: Richard Plant and Ann Turner has a son Reuben Plant bpt. 10 April 1803, died 19 Mar 1859, married Maria Westwood. Reuben Plant's older brother Thomas married Hannah Beddard, had a son and named him Reuben, b. 1813, died (I think) after 1901. So the the two Reubens were uncle and nephew. And Thomas 1783-1857 was Daniel's father 1812-1887. I didn't have Hannah Plant in my list, daughter of Daniel and wife of Richard Deeley. As you say, this seems to be the family:
Descendants of Hannah Plant
Generation No. 1
1. HANNAH9 PLANT (DANIEL8, THOMAS7, ROBERT6, BENJAMIN5, JOHN4, JOHN3, BENJAMIN2, BENJAMIN1) was born Abt. 1848 in Old Swinford. She married RICHARD DEELEY 16 Dec 1868 in Old Swinford, Worcestershire, son of GEORGE DEELEY. He was born Abt. 1832 in The Lye, Worcestershire.
Children of HANNAH PLANT and RICHARD DEELEY are: i. ALICE ELIZABETH10 DEELEY, b. Abt. Dec 1869, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire. ii. PHOEBE LOUISA DEELEY, b. Abt. Dec 1870, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire. iii. GEORGE PLANT DEELEY, b. Abt. Mar 1873, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire. iv. RICHARD DANIEL DEELEY, b. Abt. Jun 1878, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire. v. WINIFRED HANNAH P DEELEY, b. Abt. Sep 1884, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire. vi. CARLYLE REUBEN P DEELEY, b. Abt. Jun 1889, Quarry Bank, Staffordshire.
There's that Reuben again! I'm not sure whether it's Carlisle, as in the geographical place, or Carlyle as in Thomas Carlyle 1795-1881 the Victorian sage. My guess is that the mysterious "P" initial stands for Plant, by the way.
Something isn't right here.... if Daniel is the son of Thomas and that does look good with the name Rubin and David used for kids by Daniel then IGI is incorrect as they have him dying in 1821!

Ok Daniel is now joined ok with that now...but still stumbling on this one.....
I have been thinking about this and that transcribed entry re the burial so early on won't have the ages in at death so it could be any Daniel plant dying!!
I will check out this entry for the bapt and that burial
As I do believe that the names of the children, the age and area all point to this Daniel being the son of Thomas and he in turn son of robert
footnote...had info thru that verifies Daniel as the line thank you Dennis
