Has anyone ever...

Post by jac »

found the father of illig.children?
My g.g.granCatherine Ellis had 4 children (never wed) their names were...
John Evan Ellis (used step-granddads surname for 1st marr-Ellis for 2nd)
Eva (never wed)
Ada (never wed -had illig.son surname Ellis)
Kate (wed as Kate Evans)
It looks as though an Evans was the father, but I'm never going to be able to prove
this. Must admit,I have had my eye on someone!

sometimes its been know for the vicar/priest to put there father name on anyway if they suspected them? or you might get one with a name on then scratched out
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
