"Ciomplete"Pearson,Hart,Taylor,Worton connections

Post by mumbles »

PEARSON Matilda TAYLOR Edward Lye, Christ Church Dudley Register Office 011/001/1

I have part details of marriage :-
22/12/1872
Matilda Pearson 35 father Joseph Hart
Edward Taylor 44 father John Taylor

Joseph Hart and daughter Matilda are here :
http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =475173822
and Matilda marries Andrew Pearson who dies between 1861 and 1871 and Matilda marries Edward Taylor

1881 Census Church Street Lye Stourbridge Worcs.
Edward Taylor Head 56 Wrought Nail Maker
Jane Taylor wife 43 Wrought Nail Maker
William Taylor son 6 Scholar
Jane Taylor dau 5 Scholar
Alice Taylor dau 4 Scholar
All born Lye Worcs.

Note;- Cannot find a marriage Jane to Edward Taylor and I believe names of children should be Edward not William, Matilda not Jane ,Alice is correct

1891 Census Census Church Street Lye Stourbridge Worcs.
Edward Taylor Head 69 Nail Maker
Matilda Taylor wife 54 Nail Maker
Edward Taylor son 16 Brickyard Labourer
Alice Taylor dau 13 Scholar
Thomas Winmill lodger 28 Brickyard Labourer born Brierley Hill Staffs.
All born Lye Worcs.

Note Thomas Winmill/ Windmill is important for two reasons
a) Witness at wedding of Matilda Taylor born 1875/6 daughter of Edward and Matilda
Marriage Looked up by RF
Christ Church Lye 3rd Nov 1901
Reuben WORTON 25 B Collier Netherend Cradley Father William Worton Gardener
Matilda TAYLOR 25 S Lye Father Edward Taylor Nail Maker
After Banns Both Signed
Wit; Thomas Winmill / Clara Worton

b) Marries Elizabeth Pearson dau of Andrew Pearson and Matilda Hart ( Christ Church Lye 1892)

Only flaw in my reasoning is 1881 Census where name of wife and all children do not tie up

This I believe is Edward Taylor who marries Matilda Pearson (nee Hart)
and full marriage will show as widow and widower

I have not connected all up but all on bcc

Thanks RF and NL
I did not post extra marriage as I thought sufficient to validate from Census and Witnesses
