ARC TBC Brilliana Gould, William Golden & son George
Is there a way of finding out why all three, parents Brilliana, William and their last son George died on 3rd April 1799? Was because of a disease or a tragedy that happened i.e. accident?

Many thanks for the link but I can't see any information to how come all three (Brilliana, her husband William and son George) died on the same day?

By putting more information available for researchers to see the Full picture has got to be good -gives people a chance to know what the topic is Most people are not mind readers

Re: Brilliana Gould, William Golden & son George
I'm not sure. This old thread http://www.genealogyforum.co.uk/forum/v ... 31&t=12625 has
Burials (Halesowen)
3 Apr 1799 Brilliana Goolden (poss childbirth)
31 May 1799 George Gooden, Inft
25 Feb 1796 Hannah Danks alias Goolding
1 Feb 1794 James Goolding, Infant
17 Jul 1787 Joseph Golden, Infant
6 Nov 1785 Joseph Golden, Inft (P)
24 Feb 1798 George Golden
Perhaps someone with access could double check the dates?

Re: Brilliana Gould, William Golden & son George
I have just looked at the transcripts for St John the Baptist for the burials.
I can see,
Christening
3rd April 1799. St John the Baptist, Halesowen
Ann do William and Brilliana Goolden born the 26th day of October 1796
George so William and Brilliana Goolden
Burial
Brilliana Goolden 3rd April 1799
George Goolden int 31st May 1799
I didn´tsee Williams death.
I wonder if Brilliana died in or soon after child birth. How sad to have a christening and burial the same day:(
Would someone have another look just in case I missed anything please then I will change that on BCC.

Just been through it. There is no date of death for William. Brilliana seems to have been buried the same day as daughter Ann and son George were christened. Georges burial was on 31st May 1799.

Wow! Lots has happened whilst I was away from the computer!
I'm not sure how I came by this information as it was just over a year ago that I researched into Brilliana and William Golden/Goolden but do have the death dates of 3rd April 1799 for Brilliana, William and their son George. If it was just Brilliana and George then yes, seems obvious reason that it was child birth but for William, Brilliana's husband to have died on the same date seems to trigger off another reason... disease or accident?

william could of just had enough after the loss of his wife and child, poss heart attack or took his own life ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Re: Brilliana Gould, William Golden & son George
Some error has crept in somewhere (unless you have a family bible with the dates).
The Halesowen transcripts have Brilliana's burial on April 3rd 1799. If all three had died at the same time then surely they would have been buried together? And therefore entered in the parish records together.
From Granger's post it looks as though George was born and then christened on April 3rd 1799, the same day that his mother was buried. Then young George died and was buried May 31st 1799. No idea what happened to William after that.
