Marriage Looked up by RF
St. Thomas Dudley 25/12/1866
John JASPER 22 B Miner Dudley Father John Jasper Miner
Jane WHELDON 20 W Dudley Father William Flevren Carter (Deceased)
After Banns The X Of Both Wit; Emanuel Jasper X / Esther Jasper X
Note records show as Jane Wheldon or Flevren

1891 Census Corngreaves Road Rowley Regis Dudley Staffs.
John Jasper Head 45 Miner
Jane Jasper wife 45
Mary A. Hall mother.in.law 68 (wid) born Bridgnorth Shrops.
Rest born Quarry Bank Staffs.

A bit of a puzzle as marriage shows Jane as Wheldon and her father as William Flevren and her mother on Census is Mary A. Hall ?

Jane was a widow (the marriage entry has 'W', and it seems likely that her mother had remarried and was also a widow?

The Tristram lot are here http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ver=384871

I can't see a marriage for the widowed Mary Ann Ferrer though.

Thanks Gardener
I think this is Jane :-
Marriage 15/5/1864 St. Andrew Dudley
William Wilden bach Miner Netherton father Edward Wilden Puddler
Jane Wilden sp. ( no father and record shows born Illegitimate)
Witnesses John & Sarah Brooks

Marriage 29/2/1864 St. Andrew Dudley
John Brooks bach. Netherton Furnaceman father William Brooks Nailer
Sarah Weldon sp. Netherton father Edward Weldon Furnaceman
Witnesses William Weldon and Jane Fener

Edward Wheldon and William and Sarah are on bcc

http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... ver=384871

My thesis is that William Wilden died Dudley 1865 and Jane went on to marry John Jasper

Because she was illegitimate she put Fener and Wheldon and Flevren on various documents as she did not know

Did you notice the Henry Hall in the nextdoor household in 1891? I tried to find him but could not.

So we have Mary ann Wilding
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =305862176

a widow after 1864...

yet on 1891 she is Mary A Hall...

1891 Census Corngreaves Road Rowley Regis Dudley Staffs.
John Jasper Head 45 Miner
Jane Jasper wife 45
Mary A. Hall mother.in.law 68 (wid) born Bridgnorth Shrops.
Rest born Quarry Bank Staffs.

and there is no marriage to be found?

also where is William Ferrers 1st marriage to Elizabeth Tristam?
