Following on from this post:

Eliza Shakespeare, born abt 1863, Oldbury, married 28 Aug 1884, Harborne, to Walter Showell, born abt 1862, Oldbury. Walter was a brewer.

Their daughter, Annie Gladys Dorothy Showell, born abt 1885, Harborne, married Claude Mitchell, born abt 1877, Smethwick, 18 Sept 1907, Kinver. Claude's father was Henry Mitchell,born abt 1838, Worcester, Worcestershire - he was also a brewer. He was the founder of Mitchells & Butlers (with William Butler) at Cape Hill in Smethwick.

Claude Mitchells mother was Annie, born abt 1843, Oldbury. The 'Harry Mitchell Centre' in Smethwick is named after his brother Henry (1862-94).
