What I have just seen on the Ellen Knight death cert is in occupation its states "chain maker and wife of William Knight"

Ellen Knight had a brother called William so did he marry another Ellen???

Leslie Phipps b 1923

ie has anyone mentioned them in your family

I want to add them to Bcc but as born after 1920 I can't as they may still be alive
if anyone can find a date of death I can add them to Bcc.

I think, as NL said, the death cert you have is for an Ellen Knight not what you thought.

There is a marriage for a William Knight to an Ellen Fowkes in 1914. Cradley Heath, may be her?

I think you're right, wrong Ellen! I was told they both died early in the boy's life but this seems to be wrong. Does anyone have a year of death for Ellen Phipps?

This fits the 1939 and I think is the Harry Phipps that married our Ellen Knight.

Ellen May Knight regis march qtr 1893 West Brom

she is born 4 march 1893 according to 1939 regis.

the other one regis Dudley is June qtr

not sure why she is not married as Ellen May Knight
but I think that is her death in 1964

so adding that.

we do need the marriage that Shaun is sending for

but looks like Florence lily who is the exec on Harrys will is his dau from 1st mar to Blanche Hampton
and she is on 1939n too...so think that works
