Across the Northsea

Hi all,

New here... from across the Northsea, being Dutch. I joined this forum to be able to ask a question or two (and to read up on English genealogical activities, always interesting).
I'm not a beginner, exactly; just not accustomed to doing UK research.

I am currently trying to identify an English placename. Can anybody tell me which thread to choose? Then I'll put my questions there.
