Hello mumbles, In the February 2016 edition of Family Tree magazine there's a small article about a Major Flavell and was wondering if he's one of yours?

.....A report carried by several newspapers in 1838 under the heading "A Dangerous Man"....reads "There is a man named Flavell, residing at Gornal near Dudley, by trade a nailer, commonly called "Major Flavell", who has had no less than eight wives, all of whom he has buried, and is now badly on the look-out for another. By each of his wives he has had one child, and of the eight children seven are living..... he died not long after the story appeared in the press.

This one is not connected to me as mine were mostly Northfield
