Yes... I think we've gone as far as we can really w William 1833 now...and that we won't know ' for sure which one he is...at least we got Selina sorted!...(I've now started hunting her parents, and William 1833 and John 1855s...other children don't now...they seem elusive too lol)
But ty everyone for all the help you've given me so far...and for the sometimes stupid questions.... I have asked lol
Thank you everyone and yes...I'd still like to track down Selina in 81 cos that missing link makes her feel in finished

Truebrit - they were'nt stupid questions which you asked. I like the way you question things and don't take anything for granted which we have suggested. It would be good to find Selina in the 1881 census, but like Jo, I can't see her either.
I've never been able to find my 2xgt grandparents and their children on the 1881 census, but have them on others - pages must have been missing.

Well I once tracked one fam worldiwide.. Not just main lines but all connecting lines...right down to even images of where they lived....for 2 years...before finally realisng that one...key name...wasn't the right ....name so it was 2 years wasted work....so now im a lot more.....one to double check and question....
And yes several of my lines go back to the 1500s.... Yet my own gran...who was born and raised and died in Wolverhampton...i can't even find her birth in 1904...
(Btw....totally off topic but....when...w 1911 censusses...they say for example 6 children living, 3 dead.. Is it possible to trace those dead births? Would those...back then...still be registered? Or....)
