"Complete"ARC TBC..............Thomas Hall

Post by mumbles »

Thomas Hall connects to Linell
http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =131758059
Linell has note saying she does not know why born in Leics. as brought up in Halesowen

I found family in Leics. in 1841 and have added to bcc with a lot of Census details .
Also have connected to Bissell and White family which was a query on bcc but resolved/proven by Witnesseses on weddings
Henry Hall brother of Thomas Hall was Landlord of Star and Garter Birmingham Street Halesowen in 1871
Stourbridge Observer 5/9/1874
“Ebor Rudge, alias Peggy, and James Hall, alias Badley, was charged with being drunk and
disorderly and refusing to quit the STAR AND GARTER INN. Superintendent Kemp said from
information received he went to the above house and found a large number of persons there. Among
them were the two defendents, who were drunk and disorderly. Visited the house again an hour later
and found Rudge very drunk. Police sergeant Cowell corroborated. They were both fined 5s each
and costs.”
AND
“Henry Hall, alias Musco, landlord of the STAR AND GARTER, was charged with permitting
drunkenness in his house on the night of the 17th ult. Supt. Kemp proved the case and said that he
found a man named Parsons in the house drunk. He requested Parsons to leave the house when he
pushed him on the fire. On appealing to the defendant, he said he did not wish Parsons to leave.
Pleaded guilty. Fined 10s and costs.”
