I think everyone should be re-tested on a regular basis.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Yes - he's fine thanks San. He was somewhere around the MAC, don't know exactly what happened, but the police bought him home at about 9.00 - we went to pick up his bike today, not too much damage, buckled the back wheel a bit.

I do not drive so it does not apply to me , but my husband does . We know there will be a time when he feels he will be a danger on the roads ,at the moment at 66 he feels ok and quite frankly I am more afraid of the younger drivers that take risks because they have no patience . We have our bus passes in readiness

Although my father is still a competant driver, I have noticed he's not quite a attentive as he used to, but also seems to be more cautious.
Living abroad I only experience his driving occaisionally, so maybe this is why I notice the changes. He's 75, and I'm aware that one day in the not too distant future he may have to give up. Luckily my sister lives close by, and there is a bus route 100m from their house, so I hope it wont be too problematic when the time comes.
