Lovely gig from Steve Tilston, accompanied by Keith Warmington on harmonicas, at the David Hall, South Petherton last night. An understated singer and fine guitarist with a gentle sense of humour. He's probably best known for penning 'Slip Jigs & Reels' but his music has been covered by the very best. There's plenty of his music on his website http://www.stevetilston.com/ and youtube.

I've chosen this one:

He tours regularly and is well worth seeing.

I've listened to this music video 3 times SRD and i can't honestly say i like it. Pleasant enough but his voice to me lacks emotion.I prefer Harvey Andrews but that's just a personal choice.

I can understand where you're coming from, as I said, his singing is understated, and I couldn't say the gig was exciting like a rock gig might be, but his lyrics are good and his delivery clear, which is a bonus as one gets older and hearing starts to fail.

Incidentally, I like Harvey Andrews too, but he doesn't come down to our local venues often.
