This Fanny Beatrice Colbourn

http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =235518129

appears in 1881 Census Wolverhampton Orphan Asylum Goldthorn Hill Wolverhampton

but her mother is still alive in 1881 and Fanny back with her in 1891

John Colbourn son 31 Fire Brick Manufacturer
Ellen Colbourn dau 23 No Occupation
Jennie Colbourn dau 21 No Occupation
Sidney Colbourn son 17 No Occupation
Victor Colbourn son 16 No Occupation
All born Sedgley Staffs.

1891 Census Jone's Buildings Ettymore Road Sedgley Dudley Staffs.
Ellen Colbourne Head 65 (wid) Living on Own Means born Sedgley Staffs.
John Colbourne son 31 Fire Brick Agent born Tipton Staffs.
Sarah J. Colbourne dau 28 born Sedgley Staffs.
Fanny B. Colbourne dau 23 born Woodsetton

Her brother Septimus Joseph Colbourn appears as Septimus Joseph Colbourn until 1881 but as Joseph in 1891

But I have found a strange entry :-
New South Wales Australia Police Gazette Missing Person 8/10/1877
"Information requested respecting Septimus Joseph Colbourne 29 years old left England two years ago for New Zealand and arrived Sydney 1 year ago he is of intemperate habits .Information to Inspector General of Police

Did he go to Australia and come back to home in 1891 ?

Also strange is fact that family show no occupation in some Census Records even though adult and many die young

Alfred Colbourn the father left £7000 in will in 1873 so that is probably why some of children had no occupation
