thought this was interesting 2 reuben hingley marriages in 1890

one reuben b 1868 or 2 of em?

any census pls

cant see reuben hingley on Bcc..



also cant see the reuben hingley marriage to Jemima on free reg prs or west mids site

can anyone find it pls anywhere full info...

Marriages Dec 1890
Hingley Reuben Stourbridge 6c 283
Horner Jemima Stourbridge 6c 283

same page as the freer and harris one

can we find some census pl for jemima and reuben in 1891 just to prove that is the correct coupling.

This is weird there is a marriage on west mids for reuben and sarah J ane Smith

and the 1890 St John Brierley Hill marriage of Reuben Hingley and Saraha Jane Smith is on same page as
harris and Freer in 1890 diff dates

I cant see them in census...
An error in Indexes?? The original of Indexes does give the same volume and page number.

Looking at Sarah Jane Smith there are 2 showing in the indexes. First one is 6c 307 the other is 6c 2-3 so looks wrong in the indexes :roll:

Sarah Jane 6c 307 married William Chamberlain.

so you are saying that is wrong on free reg and should say Wm chamberlain married Jemmima horner?

cos we have the marriage of reuben and sarah Jane Smith in writing courtesy of Rf.


Free reg and RF are right. It is just that Sarah Jane has an error on the indexes with the page and volume numbers... it has 6c 2-3, it should be 3 numbers.
The other Sarah Jane Smith who married same year married a William Chamberlain.
