UPDATE......Angelina Tromans

Post by unicorn »

I have left this message on brick walls.
I cannot find a birth or baptism of Alexandra/Angelina Tromans born abt 1864 the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Tromans. Her father died in Cornwall and her mother returned to Worcester/Staffordshire and married Charles Southorn.
I think that Elizabeth was pregnant when Thomas died and she decided to return to her place of birth.
In 1871 she was Alexandra born 1865 and her surname was Thomas as were her siblings

Those are the correct marriages. She has her son from her 1st marriage living with her as well as her children from her marriage to Thomas during the 1871 census.
FREEREG - Angelina's 1883 marriage to John Hickman has Thomas Tromans as her father.

I agree with you. I looked at the actual census and it looks like Thomas . It is the correct family because one of the family was born in Cornwall, which bears out the census when the family were in Cornwall. Maybe the enumerator misunderstood what the family said.

FMP has HICKMAN Angelina born 1859 died 1939 England & Wales deaths 1837-2007 Winchester, Hampshire, England .
She isn't the Angelina Hickman that I am looking for because of the birth date.
