TBC Archive in 24hrs- Who do they think they are?

Post by Vikinghunter »

Sorry if the title's a bit misleading but it caught your attention, did'nt it? (cos you're reading this!)

Anyway, I get a bit lost when trying to label the family members. For example I know my Dad was my father and his father was my grandfather. But what about the following, what are they to me? (sorry there's no prizes in the offering....):

my great-grandfather's daughter

my grandfather's daughter

my great-grandfather's brother

my great-grandfather's brother's wife

my great-grandfather's brother's daughter

my great-grandfather's son

my great-grandfather's neighbour's cat (oh, ignore this one, I jest!)

Cheers

my great-grandfather's neighbour's cat (oh, ignore this one, I jest!) A friend for life.

Hi
I never heard "grand aunt" before. I always called my garndmother's sister my great-aunt. Mind , that could be a Derbyshire way of doing things :-)
