Just checked that 1871 Census and she has given her age incorrectly.... :?

Thanks for that Jo, I have asked for a look up request for this marriage as I found that as well.

RF has looked up my other 2 marriages for Mira's 2 other children, William (1874) who says his father is John Carpenter & Thomas (1882) who says his father is William Carpenter. I am hoping that the George marriage to Elizabeth Foley comes up trumps.

I've got pretty much all of the children on various censuses.

Now, I'm thinking that if the possible death of the father David Carpenter in 1866 is the correct one, all the children born after this date are from a different father. As that William Sharpell/Shepherd in the 1881 census is with the family in 1901 I wonder if he is the father?

I'm getting myself all muddled here, I'm going around in circles and meeting myself coming back :lol: Will have another look tomorrow and put on the thread what I've got.
