You know something, it really really annoys me when some people on Ancestry correct a name due to it being transcribed wrong!! Somebody on the above 1861 census says that Frances should be THOMAS, it's as plain as the nose on yer face that it isn't - rant over :-) Obviously should be Francis for a male.
