Trying to find the marriage of Thomas Griffiths born about 1873 in Rowley Regis

1901 Wales census

Benjamin Griffiths Head 54 Chainmaker
Roseanna Griffiths Wife 52
Thomas Griffiths son single 28 boilermaker
Edward Griffiths son 16 Chain?
Mary Griffiths dau 14
John Griffiths son 12

Think he married an Alice, but don't know a surname... :?

Don't worry about it guys.. Just realised he was living in Wales in 1901.

Now that the brain has woken up and I've just been and had a look at the Wales BMD.. can't find any record of a Thomas Griffiths marrying an Alice anytime fro 1901 -1911.

I'll just add it to my puzzles :-)

Found this one in the Cheshire BMD for 1905... only problem with this record is that 1. it's not Flintshire and 2. the siblings that I have found marraiges for are all Lache cum Saltney, Holy Trinity, or Lache cum Saltney St Mark, and another is a Chester Civil Marraige. :?

So, this one doesn't fit with the rest, but it's the only Thomas and Alice I can find.

looking at the map, Saltney is only about 4 miles from Chester.

From Genuki
Present-day Saltney, as generally perceived, is a suburb of the City of Chester, lying a mile or so to the west of the City centre, and straddling the Flintshire / Cheshire border. This is, however, a relatively recent development, which began in the mid Victorian period.
