Yes.. thats her 1871...

And where it has Nukkin, Shropshire For Williams birthplace he also shows up in other censusses as born Sellatyn, Shropshire.. and the Charles.. Evans shows up as born in Welshampton.. and a place called Barden Heath

Elizabeth (Selina's Mom) I also think showed up in one place being born in "Bickford" too.. as well as Ellesmere, Shropshire. (I did look for a marriage for the, to get Elizabeths name as well, but... )

The John wakelam thread was the....other thread, the one that has Selina as being born sedgley (remember, in the smith thread, I got confused because I had spotted another poss Selina family...) This....Selina is married to John Smith son of the William smith I had been hunting....

Marriage: 3 April 1876 at St Luke, Bilston
John Smith – 21 – Bachelor – Engine Driver – Bilston – William Smith – Keeper
Selina Evans – 20 – Spinster – Bilston – William Evans – Boatman
Wit: Charles Evans, Elizabeth Harris

Can I butt in here please Jo and Andy aka truebritmega :-)

On Jo's first posting on this thread, Jo is referring to Selina Evans (of Lower Gornal) who married John Wakelam and then William Hoggins. Somewhere along the line, this Selina (of Lower Gornal) got mixed up with the Selina (of Bilston) who married John Smith.

Andy's Selina (of Bilston) & John Smith has been sorted. I've been having a look at the Selina (of Lower Gornal) & John Wakelam/William Hoggins and think I've got it now.

Jo, do you want me to sort out the info on BCC?
